Grammy 2014

A pair of duos win big on music's biggest night... Lorde surprises with Song of the Year nod... Kendrick Lamar, Paul McCartney, Katy Perry, Beyonce and Jay Z among performers.

Song of the year! Slytherin wins the cup!
I have to say that this was one of the most entertaining and interesting Grammys in the last couple of years, if not ever. We saw everuthing: fire and rock, dark magic and witchcraft, Beyonce, flying in the air, and even marriage. 33 marriages, to be exact.

I was really surprised when Lorde won for the Song Of The Year. like wtf?!

- Just Give Me A Reason
- Roar
- Same Love
- Locked Out Of Heaven
were in the same category and yet we have "Royal" as the song of the year.  Thank God is not that important, compared to the Record of The Year, where 2 robots and "man in a hat" received their Grammy for "Get Lucky" (I knew that Pharrell will win in this category, but was doubting between Get Lucky and Blurred Lines)

JTLYK I think that Just Give Me A Reason is one of the BEST songs of the year! Pink and Nate got only 2 nominations for this masterpiece and lost to Royals and to Get Lucky. But with this stunning performance Pink truly showed us once again that she is one a a kind! love her! And if you compare this to the Royal's performance...well.

Macklemore, Mary Lambert, Madonna, Ryan Lewis and Queen Latifa onstage as 33 couples were married during the live Grammy telecastKevin Mazur/WireImage

This performance was really different and weird. Why Madonna? gay icon? ok. But her lifeless face, please.
"I hope this is inspiration (for rappers) to tackle any subject you want, (even) a subject that may seem like a difficult subject," Queen Latifah said backstage after the telecast."We need to make sure we get back to that."

Katy Perry got her 2 Grammy nominations this years and lost. again. She wants this statuette so bad, just like Leonardo DiCaprio is craving for Oscar (well, he might finally get one this year, though I doubt it).

Daft Punk won in all their 5 nominations, including Album Of The Year, Record of The Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Pharrell is Producer Of The Year.
